Projects follow this process when working on a website, brochure, or online marketing campaign. We work to ensure we deliver the results to meet your goals and objectives.
Project Application
Whether we are working together for the first time or you are a current client, we’ll have you get started by reviewing our requirements and completing the Project Application on our website.
Initial Meeting
Once we have had a chance to review the project information, we will schedule a meeting to learn more and ask follow up questions.
Proposal
In the proposal, we will summarize what we’ve discussed and outline the high level solutions to accomplish your goals and objectives.
Consultation
This step may precede the Proposal if we are unable to gather all the project details during the initial meeting. This step is required either before we write the proposal or after the proposal is signed. It is an depth discovery and planning session to ensure we’ve reviewed everything in scope for the project.
Kickoff
Once the proposal is signed, we’ll kickoff the project with a meeting to review the detailed timeline, key deliverables and milestones for all team members, and outline roles and responsibilities.
Content
We’ll start with the sitemap to outline the structure of the site. We’ll begin to define the customer paths leading them through a funnel for conversion. We’ll take an inventory of existing content, see what can be re-purposed and determine what is needed to complete the sitemap of the site. If content is part of the project, we will agree on subjects and assign writers.
Prototype
The prototype is a black and white version of how we think the website will work based on your input thus far. We’ll schedule a meeting to show you at a high level how the site will function and flow.
Design
Armed with content and the prototype, we’ll create the look and feel of the website, we will pull in your colors, branding, logo and make your site come alive.
Development
Once you accept and sign the release form of the design files, we will begin programming the website. We will assemble the content, visual design, and functionality into a working website.
Launch
Time to Go Live! When the site is ready to launch, we will do final checks and push the website live.
Analyze & Grow
After your website launches, we will continue to tweak and make bug fixes for a fixed period of time. We will proactively monitor the site to ensure we are meeting the goals and objectives that were established at the start of the project. We’ll provide recommendations and guidance on ways to optimize and grow your business.
Ongoing Care
To have an effective website, it requires a growth strategy and regular attention to security, site backups, and software updates. We offer Website Care Plans to provide ongoing care.
